- Shark Fin Soup - for what?
If you notice, we are not serving shark’s fin soup. We have decided to only serve food that is sustainable and not harmful to our environment, so that our children and grandchildren will still have resources to use. Here’s why we left shark’s fin soup out of our menu:
Sharks are highly endangered. If they became extinct, the imbalance in the sea wil affect our ability to depend on the sea as a source of food.
Shark finning is cruel. When a shark’s fins are cut, the rest of the shark is thrown back to sea, still alive but left to die a slow and painful death.
